If Slender scared you, Haunt: The Real Slender Game will freak you out. This free horror game is based on the popular Slender game. New scenarios have been added and the plot and storyline have been beefed-up to give the game a deeper, more sinister feel. Similar to the original Slender game, where you had to collect cryptic notes, Haunt takes it a step further and requires you to collect notes that lead to other locations; other clues and notes can be found by following them. While much of the game is very much like Slender, the added scenarios and increased sound effects make Haunt more captivating than Slender.
Haunt also has you collecting more items in order to make you way in the game; you will have to collect batteries for your camera for example. While the original Slenderman doesn’t make an appearance, you do have to avoid a horrific creature that will kill you if it catches you.
The games sound effects, along with the static, will indicate with this monster is nearby. Sometimes, the clues don’t really make sense so it is easy for players to get lost in this title. However, Haunt has the same edgy atmosphere that Slender possess and makes the game just as enjoyable. Fans of the horror genre, and of Slender, will have fun with Haunt.
